Introduction to Crate Training
We use the buddy system when we introduce our pups to a crate. We have found this method decreases the stress and anxiety pups can sometimes feel. This training is important to all of our pups and their new families even if they choose not to crate.

Beginning Housebreaking
We begin taking our puppies outside with our adult dogs for regular breaks at 4 weeks old. This becomes a daily routine and is carried over when puppies go home with their families. Although they are not fully housebroken they are off to a great start!
Beginning Leash and Recall Training
We start all of our puppies on leash and recall training early on. We love to use our well trained adults to help teach the puppies to come when called. We find it important to introduce puppies to walking on a leash prior to going home as this helps with the
transition to a new home.
